Global Urban Humanities Open House Fall 2019

Tuesday, 09/03/19
104 Wurster Hall

Location: 104 Wurster

Time: 4:30-6:00p

The interdisciplinary Global Urban Humanities Initiative (GUH) studies global cities by bringing together scholars, artists and designers from the arts and humanities, architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning.

Come celebrate the start of the seventh year of our activities. Learn about an exciting interdisciplinary research studio on the city of Berlin, an undergraduate studio on counterculture practice and protests in the East Bay, and a seminar on the city, arts and public space. We'll also have updates about last year's studios on Lagos and New Orleans and the exciting projects that came out of these courses, and introduce our Graduate and Undergraduate Certificates in Global Urban Humanities.

The Open House will also feature presentations by GUH faculty and students.

We'll be hosting this year's Global Urban Humanities Initiative Open House in Wurster 104. It will be a great chance to meet GUH faculty and students and catch up on what they've been up to!

This event is open to the entire campus and public with RSVP! Light refreshments will be provided.
