GUH FACULTY RONALD RAEL GOES VIRAL WITH THE TEETERTOTTER WALL

Bay Area architects Virginia San Fratello and Ronald Rael installed three pink seesaws at the borderwall between Mexico and the United States. Videos of children riding the seesaws and laughing drew millions of views on Twitter. The project explores some of the themes Rael addressed with students in the Spring 2018 Global Urban Humanities Graduate Studio course, Borderwall Urbanism, which he co-taught with Associate Professor of Art Practice, Stephanie Syjuco.
