Michael Dear Reflects on Transdisciplinarity in New GeoHumanities Article

Global Urban Humanities teaching faculty and steering committee member Michael Dear has a new piece on practices in the transdisciplinary classroom in the inaugural issue of GeoHumanities, a new journal of the Association of American Geographers, edited by Tim Cresswell and Deborah Dixon and published by Taylor and Francis.

The issue will be available online later this month and in print October of this year.

Dear's article, Practicing Geohumanities, discusses his experiences with transdisciplinarity, including co-teaching the Spring 2014 GloUH course The City and Its Moving Images: Urban Theory, Media Theory. You can read the article in its entirety here.
